Insulated glass (IG), more commonly known as double glazing (or double-pane glass), consists of two or more glass window panes separated by a vacuum or gas-filled space to reduce heat transfer across a part of the building envelope. We carry residential and commercial insulated glass, that are sometimes called thermo panes.

I wasn’t sure whether to buy such a delicate product online but I was really satisfied with the standard of the box that it came in, opened my package and the IG finish was perfect, thank you.

How do I order a custom insulated glass unit on Glassupply.com?

You first need to fill the form on the product page following your specifications. Once we received your order, we will review the information, and begin the manufacturing process. About 10 days later, you will receive a tracking ID indicating the delivery date.
1. Is “low-E” glass tempered?
All types of insulated glass units proposed on the website are tempered by default. This includes Low-E glass. Tempered glass allows us to safely ship the product all across North-America.
2. Do you sell tinted windows?
We do not sell tinted-glass windows. However, we sell low-e glass, which minimize the amount of ultraviolet and infrared light that can pass through glass.
3. Do you carry triple-pane insulated glass?
Yes, we have triple-pane insulated glass – it is just not shown on our website. Contact us with your dimensions, glass thickness and other specifications; we will give you a quote.

4. What is the “total IG unit thickness”?
This is the total thickness of your insulated glass unit, which is often 1 inch for residential glass.
